Tuition
Financing & Scholarship
Cinema Make-up School
maintains a school financing program. Our goal is
to make an Cinema Make-up School education accessible
to talented students regardless of their ability to
pay. The Cinema Make-up School makes scholarships
available to students who demonstrate outstanding
potential and financial need. Financial aid programs
are not available to international students. They
should, however, be prepared to cover their full costs
for tuition, supplies, and living expenses. Students
who require financial assistance to enroll in Cinema
Make-up School program, can apply for a tuition loan
through our financial aid office. Cinema Make-up School
is associated with financial institutions, and maintains
a partial tuition financing program. Please contact
the school for further information and full disclosures.
Housing
The
cinema make-up school wishes for students that come
from outside of California to have an easy transition
to Los Angeles. Cinema make-up school will be pleased
to assist in finding suitable accommodation and can
supply a list of addresses for accommodation that
is located within access and public transport to the
school.
Job
Development
Cinema Make-up
School has development workshops that are designed
to give student and graduates job search skills. The
workshop will cover such issues as resume preparation,
promotional cards, business cards, portfolio design
and content and how to start making industry contacts.
The workshop schedules guest speakers, and provides
and peer counsel one another. These workshops are
open to all graduates students from any school on
a life time basis. Cinema Make-up School encourages
students to attend our Industry Workshops offered
to all graduates, but does not guarantee placement.
Transportation
Public bus
transportation is available with stops located close
to campus. The MTA bus system will supply student
passes. It may also be possible for the school to
arrange for transportation by another student if schedules
are compatible. The Metro Rail is also close to campus.
Location
The school
is conveniently located in the dynamic mid-wilshire
area of West Los Angeles. It is located near rapid
transit with bus routes, and underground subway stations.
Within walking distance of the school, there are shops,
great restaurants, cafes and salons. The area is known
as "Hollywood", close to Paramount, KTLA,
FOX, CBS, and Universal Studios, The Wax Museum, Mann's
Chinese Theater, and the prestigious "Beverly
Hills" for shopping.

Program
Cinema Make-up
school evening program-Cinema Make-up School at night,
provides the opportunity to explore career options
and to improve or begin a make-up career. The school
also offers the Saturday makeup seminars on a variety
of topics. Please call the admissions office for a
current schedule of classes and seminars. |
