Named after Leonard Engleman, Cinema Makeup School’s Director of Education Emeritus and recently re-elected to the Board of Governors of the Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, The Leonard Engleman Fellowship offers a select group of students the opportunity to study directly with Leonard himself in an intimate, workshop setting.

Leonard Engelman is Director of Education Emeritus of Cinema Makeup School and on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Makeup Artists and Hairstylists Branch. He has been working professionally as a makeup artist for over fifty years and his feature credits include such classics as Alfred Hitchcock’s Topaz, Ivan Reitman’s Ghostbusters, Rambo starring Sylvester Stallone, Sleepless in Seattle starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan and Moonstruck and Burlesque both starring Cher.
