Devin McDonagh is a commercial artist from Jacksonville, Florida, and a CMS alumnus. He worked in independent film in Northern Florida and Southern Georgia for years before moving to Los Angeles to cultivate more film industry clients.
Devin trained under some of the industry’s most talented veterans (see the CMS Board of Advisors) and took the mantle from Shannon Shea as the Lead Lab Instructor teaching CMS’s Special Effects course for 7 years before relocating to Florida. Expanding his scope, Devin moved into the Theming, Scenic, and Amusement Park commercial art world.
With an extensive resume across Film and Theming industries, Devin has served as an Art Director, Production Manager, Department Head, Designer, and Sculptor. Although he resides in Florida, he remains a committed and proud member of the CMS Faculty.
