Students can develop skills in areas such as beauty makeup, airbrush makeup, character makeup, prosthetics, special makeup effects, photographic hairstyling, creature design, ZBrush, Digital FX, and advanced lab techniques. The classes available depend on the program or course selected.
Yes. Cinema Makeup School offers special effects makeup training alongside advanced beauty and lab techniques, allowing students to expand their skills beyond foundational SFX makeup.
The training includes advanced artistry and styling across avant-garde, red carpet, drag, fashion, editorial, and other makeup genres, along with advanced airbrush techniques for creating believable tattoos and other stenciled designs.
Students also learn specialized lab techniques, including mold-making, silicone casting, silicone painting, seaming & patching, hair punching, eye-making, and other advanced SFX skills.
Yes. Cinema Makeup School offers both diploma and certificate makeup courses. Upon successfully completing a diploma program, students receive a Cinema Makeup School diploma, while students who complete a certificate course receive a certificate of completion for that course.
No prior experience is required to enroll at Cinema Makeup School. The programs are designed to help aspiring artists build their SFX makeup skills through hands-on training. Applicants must be 18 years or older to apply.
