I was working in mental healthcare and was using makeup as a coping mechanism to get through the stress of the job and the pandemic. I realized I was much happier when I was doing makeup and creating than when I was working in the healthcare setting. So, I decided to make a radical change and applied to Cinema Makeup Schooll, quit my job, and moved to Los Angeles. It was the best choice I’ve ever made and I’ve never been happier.
